You can stand in your own way as a barrier or empower yourself towards higher possibilities.

Being bound by limitations of physical or mental nature we may end up only aspiring for our goals and dreaming about our desires. Are we really bound by limitations that we cannot address or have we created them due to neglect or lack of self-awareness and perception of life?

Is your body standing as a barrier or your mind is posing some block? Are you ruled by logic, miserably driven by emotions or pushed by the rudimentary regimen of your day? Does your anger get the best of you or your boundaries of likings and disliking of people, opportunities and situations?

While you are busy balancing your body and emotions, life seems to be whizzing by. Consistent dedication and effort to streamline your system (body, mind, energy) is necessary to bring yourself to a state of stillness where you allow life to permeate and flow with effortless ease.

Who do you usually blame in the times of adversities in your life? Is it that you are too busy to consider cleaning up clutter or are you trudging through the days like a cookie-cutter?

While you are busy balancing your body and emotions, life seems to be whizzing by. Consistent dedication and effort to streamline your system (body, mind, energy) is necessary to bring yourself to a state of stillness where you allow life to permeate and flow with effortless ease. Attention to keeping your inner environment cleansed and rejuvenated is indispensable to be able to be ever-ready to plunge into action when times comes for it.

It’s not about a great day, a good week, good times or good life. It’s about “creating” them.

Certain things are best understood when experienced.
Experience beings with action. Action germinates from the desire to explore.

Certain things are best understood when experienced. Experience beings with action. Action germinates from the desire to explore. Being a reasonably fit person, I perceived myself as accomplished in body and mind until I stepped into situations where not just my body but my mind smashed me with realities. When the time for action came, I found myself at the core of inflexibility in body and rigidity in mind and emotions stood frayed. When challenged with advertises of life at multiple levels, I found myself lacking the support of body, mind and emotions. From that point of crumbling to re-creating and becoming Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher is quite a significant journey.

I broke my limitations some of which were unknown to me. Not just my body, emotions and life stabilized, a fundamental shift occurred within me.

The changes within myself came into my perceptible experience when I saw the fundamental shifts that Hatha Yoga planted in my being.

So, what are these limitations?

You want to take only thirty seconds and list the things you wish to alter in your life and demolish the physical and psychological fence you have created around you. These limitations take a visible shape when observed and we realize we could accomplish a lot “only if they were non-existent”.

“I want to get physically fit but there is nothing I do about it”

“I do not enjoy what I do, but I feel stuck”

“I want to run, dance and climb rocks, but I am overweight”

“I procrastinate. I lack discipline”

“I am stressed”

“I try but I hit a roadblock”

“I want to be highly productive but I lack focus and time”

“I wish I could speak up for myself “

“I want to reach out and help but I lack courage”

“I fear the dark”

“I feel insecure”

These limitations may lead one to anxiety, fear, insecurity, lack of confidence, low self esteem or most importantly blockages in body and mind that stand as barrier rather than support to live the life desired by us.

Psychological limitations may lead to diseases in body that are mostly psychosomatic in nature.
